My passion for media began in 2007 when I purchased my first DSLR camera. I started falling in love with the idea that I could capture one single moment in time and cherish that moment for a lifetime through my images. I would capture photos and videos of my nature walks, and hiking trails all throughout NJ. I then asked myself, should I make this hobby into a business? 

 

 A few years later, I have met some of the most hardworking and awesome business  owners, and people, that really has resonated with me. I have brought much light to these small businesses or people that never had a voice prior, and it has been such an awesome opportunity to show case these incredible people and events.

 

In 2018, I started my own first business called JLK Media, which was a team of myself and my partner Rachel Appleton. We bought a bunch of equipment, and decided to bit the bullet and see our little business grow! With the hope to help small businesses and capture people’s special moments for them to remember for an eternity.

 

I have grown a passion for creating cinematic images that my clients love, and push me to strive for my fullest potential on each and every new job. I love growing a long lasting relationship with my clients instead of just collecting a paycheck, I wanted to grow with them, so I decided to create Oculr Media, a one stop shop company for all of your media needs. Providing businesses of any size, and any event, we offer many different services to create any media for your special project!
